Irun to San Sebastian

I decided to head early for the camino.  I slept the minimum and I couldn’t hold myself in bed a minute longer. I had coffee in a rush and started walking quite early after my stretch.  The walk was amazing with a stretch of 2 hours (9 km of heavy rain).  The walk was an intense, challenging one but quite amazing.  The anticipation was high as this one was regarded as the toughest one of the Camino del Norte. I arrived in San Sebastián to a wonderful hostal, were I met other pilgrims from the night before - and new ones. I had a lovely, warm shower and headed for food. 

Little by little the anxiety starts to fade away. I don’t know this but tonight, in bed, I am about to feel the toll of the physical challenge.
