Comillas to Colombres

The pain in skin beneath my blisters persisted but the blisters started to heal. Thank you universe for the fusidic acid. I woke up very early and headed into town to meet Encarnación. We walked diligently the first ten kilometers out of Comillas into beautiful landscapes.  We stopped for breakfast in San Vicente de la Barquera and later for a snack, where qw met Malcolm, a British gentleman and pilgrim who was very sick.  We reached the last town before Colombres and had a fantastic, ver filling lunch (menu del día - ensaladilla rusa y albóndigas) and hence last meal of the day. We walked the last 2.5 km up the hill into a pretty town, Colombres, in the middle of the mountains. I spent the night in a very comfortable airbnb.
